eFXO Apeldoorn Weekend Tournament

The tournament will be played in six rounds according to the Swiss System. Time control: 90 minutes with a 30-second increment starting on move 1. Players may request one bye (= ½ point) in rounds 1 to 4. Please note that this bye can only be requested before the start of the first round.

Round 12: 7.30 pm– 11.30 pm Round 4: 7.30 pm – 11.30 pm Prize giving: approx. 6.15 pm

1 The night of Saturday to Sunday is prolonged by one hour, due to the end of summer time.
2 Players having a bye in the first round should report for registration before 8.50 am on Saturday.

Group A: open for players currently with a Dutch KNSB rating of 1700 and above
Group B: open for players currently with a Dutch KNSB rating of 1800 and lower
(On special request the organizer may grant exemption from these rating limits)

In group B also rating prizes will be awarded.

Rating
The tournament shall be rated by KNSB (both groups) and FIDE (group A only).
